The SCHOEPS CMH is a wired handheld or soloist's microphone with particular immunity to plosive noise ("popping"). Because of its well-balanced frequency response it can also be used for speech pickup.

The CMIT 5 is SCHOEPS' shotgun microphone which has set a new standard for shotgun microphones since its release. The CMIT 5's directionality increases smoothly with higher frequencies, which results in a very balanced sonic character.

The set consists of:
- "Shotgun" microphone CMIT 5 U
- CCM 8 Lg (figure-8 for the side channel)
- WSR MS CMIT LU basket-type windscreen (Rycote Size "AF") including cabling, Windjammer and Connbox, double clamp
- breakout cable AK SU/2U

The CMIT Mono Set consists of the following items:
- CMIT 5 U shotgun microphone,
- elastic suspension with pistol grip and cabling with Connbox,
- WSR 3 CMIT basket-type windscreen (100 mm dia., length 360 mm) incl. WJ CMIT Windjammer

The CMR allows any SCHOEPS ”Colette” series capsule (except the BLM 03 C active boundary layer capsule) to be used with pocket transmitters.

The KMIT is the shotgun microphone capsule for the modular Colette series. It is derived directly from the CMIT series, inheriting the same acoustical qualities such as high directivity combined with low coloration of lateral-incident sound, and very smoothly increasing directivity at higher frequencies. The KMIT, CMIT 5 and MiniCMIT can be interchanged without altering the sound.

The shotgun microphone MiniCMIT offers the characteristics of a CMIT 5 in more compact form. The MiniCMIT, CMIT 5 and SuperCMIT (ch2) have identical frequency response curves. Furthermore, the MiniCMIT and CMIT 5 have circuitry with similar characteristics, such that the microphones can be interchanged without altering the sound.

- MiniCMIT compact shotgun microphone,
- elastic suspension with pistol grip and cabling with Connbox,
- WSR MiniCMIT basket-type windscreen (100 mm dia., length 360 mm) incl. Windjammer

This capsule type has a flat frequency response for frontal sound incidence. This yields a very natural sound when recordings are made within the reverberation radius, where the direct sound (frontal incidence) predominates over the reverberant sound (random angles of incidence).

This type of capsule has a directional pattern between omni and cardioid. The basic idea in designing this capsule was to combine the advantages of the cardioid with those of the omni.
